Hollister, California
August 11, 2005

This letter was received from Tory Strong, Humanitarian Specialist in the California Hollister 1st Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: August 4, 2005 Dear Wheelchair Foundation: It is with great pleasure that we can present you the enclosed check for $1,146.52 that represents 15 2/3 wheelchairs. This money was donated by members of the Hollister, California 1st Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The children of the ward between the ages of 3 and 12 donated a large majority of the money. They saved pennies and performed odd jobs to raise the money. I have enclosed a picture of them and letters they wrote to the recipients. If possible, we are hoping pictures of the recipients might be made available to us. We would like to continue to share the excitement of this wonderful endeavor with the children. Thank you for providing a way for us to feel the blessings of helping others. Sincerely, Tory Strong Humanitarian Specialist Hollister 1st Ward The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints P.S. If possible, please send pictures or notes to my home address. I will forward them to the children and their leaders.
