When I started Wheelchair Foundation 10 years ago, I announced our goal to distribute one million free wheelchairs to women, men, and children around the world who need a wheelchair, but cannot get one on their own. Since that time we have donated more than 800,000 wheelchairs to people in need in more than 150 countries.
To make sure that we reach our goal we are running a special deal on full containers of 280 wheelchairs; for $25,000 anyone can send a full container of wheelchairs to their choice of one of 25 designated countries!

It typically costs Wheelchair Foundation $42,000 to deliver a full container of wheelchairs, so until we reach our goal of giving away one million wheelchairs I will personally fund the difference through the Global Health and Education Foundation. This is my commitment to help others, and I know that all of our supporters will want to take advantage of this deal while it lasts!
This offer is good for both our Standard Manual Wheelchair and our All Terrain Wheelchairs.
-Our Standard Manual Wheelchairs feature solid polyurethane tires. Standard Manual wheelchairs come 280 per container, and they are available in five seat widths (12”, 14’, 16”, 18” and 20”). Standard Manual Wheelchairs are best suited for use on hard surfaces.
-Our All Terrain Wheelchairs feature pneumatic mountain bike tires. All Terrain Wheelchairs come 260 per container, and they are also available in five seat widths (12”, 14”, 16”, 18” and 20”). All Terrain Wheelchairs are better suited for rough terrain and unimproved environments. Each wheelchair includes an air pump and tire patch kit. Pneumatic mountain bike tires offer the wheelchair user a more cushioned ride and better maneuverability over varied terrain.
-Half & Half – We do have the ability to provide a combination of both Standard Manual Wheelchairs and All Terrain Wheelchairs in one container. This offer is only available in the following configuration only (due to container volume constraints) 140 Standard Manual Wheelchairs of any size , plus 130 All Terrain Wheelchairs of any size, for a total of 270 wheelchairs per container.
Wheelchairs must be consigned to reputable organizations capable of importation of humanitarian aid duty and VAT free. Wheelchair Foundation will cover the cost of delivery to-door within the listed countries. All consignees will be subjected to review and verification by Wheelchair Foundation Operations as part of our standard operating procedure prior to any partnership or shipment. Wheelchair Foundation reserves the right to refuse any and all requests at its discretion. Consigning organizations are responsible for all fees and charges encountered in importation, storage and distribution.
This program does not apply to Rotary International Foundation Matching Grants.
Typical delivery takes approximately 120 days from the receipt of funds and return of consignees signed Standard Donation Agreement to Wheelchair Foundation Operations staff.
